Linhousilin Forest Park
“Linhousilin Flatland Forest Park” is located in Chaojhou Township, Pingtung County, occupying an area of 1,005 ha, with 85 ha of which comprise the core area after the Park opened to the public. It is one of the three flatland forest parks selected into the Green Forestation Project, one of the i-Taiwan 12 Projects.
Combining forest recreation and green forestation, the Park constructs a complete ecosystem for environmental education with an ecological, energy-saving, carbon-reducing, healthy green building design in low density to cultivate citizens and children alike with respect towards resources and the environment, the concept of ecosystem, and the attitude towards life. In addition, local features of Pingtung are integrated in order to create an educational park full of local features and diversified ecology, so that ecological education, as well as in-depth tourism, can be developed, and ultimately fulfill the value of green forestation.

The general driving route is to take National Highway 1 and then Expressway 88, or take National Highway 3 to the Nanzhou Interchange, then take Provincial Highway 1 and turn to Pingtung County Highway 185A to arrive.
By Car(from east)
Travelers from the eastern region can take County Road 185 along the mountain road on the east side of the base to reach the south side of the base.

1. | To bring pets into conditionally open parks, visitors must fill out a written affidavit, bring a valid pet registration certificate (certificate or microchip), and rabies vaccination certificate (certificate or collar tag). Pets must be kept in bags, cages, carts or other equipment that limits their range of movement at all times in the park, or properly tied with a leash (the maximum length of the leash is 1.5 meters). Food is not allowed to be left in the park. Pets are not allowed to enter non-designated areas and are prohibited from coming into contact with wild animals. Pet excrement must be cleaned up and thrown into the trash can to maintain the safety, order and cleanliness of the park. If a pet disobeys instructions or even behaves aggressively, it should be taken away from the park immediately. |
2. | To prevent forest fires, camping, barbecues, picnics, smoking and littering of cigarette butts are prohibited in this park. |
3. | Hiking and cycling are the best ways to enjoy nature. |
4. | The picking of plants or catching of insects is prohibited in this park. Please use appreciation, experience and observation instead of collection, destruction, carving, pollution and hunting. |
5. | Please use environmentally friendly tableware or bring reusable containers when entering the park. |
6. | The park is located at the foot of the mountain. During the rainy season in summer and autumn, there are often thunderstorms in the afternoon. Please pay attention to your own safety. |
7. | Ecological ponds, irrigation and drainage canals and other non-water play areas are not recommended. Visitors are advised to follow the trails and signboards and stay away from water areas to avoid danger. |
8. | Please cherish natural resources, do environmental protection, reduce and sort garbage, recycle resources, and leave a clean environment in the park. |

Park Facilities
Tree Bank Area
The trees for reforestation transplanted from Dachaozhou Artificial Lake were deposited in this area. It also functions as a forest for educational tour, for the purposes of environmental education on forestation, cultivation and preservation. The designated area is 2.7 ha.
