1F Forest Ecosystem Exhibition Space
The 1F exhibition space is an introduction to forest ecosystems. First, through old black-and-white photos and timber transportation models, we learned about the early development history of Taipingshan Forest Farm and understood that forest management policies have been constantly evolving with the times. The exhibition space has many interactive guided tour facilities. You can take a "Bong Bong Train" to view the scenery of the entire Taipingshan Forestry Train, as if you have transformed yourself into a forestry worker galloping on the forestry track. Then, visitors enter the forest ecology display space, which uses visual and auditory transmission methods to immerse themselves in forest environments at different altitudes and wander in the green sea of the forest.

2F Audiovisual Room
Another planned space on the 2nd floor of the museum is an audio-visual room, which has seats for 28 people and provides scheduled screenings of films on forest ecology and related environmental education topics (eco-cinema). In the future, it will also be planned to provide related units with use for arts and culture, community connection activities and seminars.

2F Family Reading Area
Between the 2F exhibition area and the audio-visual room, there is a well-lit wooden floor space where parents and children can read books and children's picture books. On the three U-shaped walls, hand-drawn pictures and texts are occasionally drawn with chalk, presenting various environmental issues in an interesting and lively way.

2F Shallow Mountain and Spring Conservation Exhibition Area
The 2F exhibition space first introduces the issue of shallow mountain conservation. The Yuanshan Ecological Education Center is surrounded by many shallow mountains with an altitude of only a few hundred meters, which is also an area that tourists often choose to travel to on weekends. Through display boards and explanations, tourists can first understand the crisis facing the shallow mountain ecology before entering the mountainous area, and think about how we can work together to protect the shallow mountain environment. After understanding the relationship between oneself and the shallow mountain ecology, I further understood the content of the "Satoyama Initiative" and its vision of "harmonious coexistence between man and nature." In addition, the display board on the other side presents the characteristic natural resources of the Yilan area - "Springs". In addition to briefly introducing the causes of Springs, it also introduces several local Springs attractions. It is hoped that tourists can experience them in person, build awareness of land identity, and jointly protect the natural ecology.
